I began painting in oils as an adolescent. I am formally trained with a BFA from Pacific Northwest College of Art. 

Painting to me is a way of creating my own beautiful reality. My handling of paint is sculptural and gives my work a sense of movement. I focus on figurative work and am equally interested in the subject, the energy and responsiveness to their environment.
